We are inviting you to get involved, help us make a difference.
Never has there been a more important time to support local businesses. With many shopping centres and outlets closed, buying local can be challenging, but not anymore…
At Women’s Business Station we are offering shoppers and local traders the chance to buy and sell.
Local traders can feature in our Festive Catalogue. This will go live on 23rd November and will be promoted on all social media channels and circulated to local business, groups, and networks up until Monday 21st December. In addition, we are holding four Meet the Makers virtual markets sessions. These will give both the buyer and the seller the opportunity to meet each other and trade.
In the coming days you can download our Local Festive Catalogue– new traders will be added daily so keep checking.
Hundreds of festive baubles are to bring hope to children and families across Dundee and beyond this Christmas.
Women’s Business Station is launching the Bauble of Hope campaign in conjunction with Help for Kids Charity. We are inviting members of the public and businesses to buy or gift a keepsake bauble, with a message of hope to mark the end of a particularly challenging year.
Priced at £5.95 for two or £10, the sealed pack contains festive stencils and pens to personalise a bauble as a gift for a friend or family member. Alternatively, members of the public can buy a kit for Help for Kids to distribute to a child in need. Businesses will also be encouraged to bulk-buy baubles, which Help for Kids will pass on to children in their networks.
