Rekha Welsh was appointed as the region’s Loan Officer for DSL Business Finance in December 2016 and supports the delivery of the Scottish Growth Scheme across the North East, Aberdeen and Dundee. This fund provides improved access to finance with very competitive terms, offering loans of up to £25k to start-up and expanding businesses. DSL are also the finance partners for the Digital Development Loan Scheme which allows businesses to apply for loans for digitalisation of their business of up to £100k at 0% over a maximum 5 year period.
Rekha has a vast experience in Business Finance having previously been employed by the RBS for 15 years and will cover off both the Scottish Growth Scheme and the Digital Development Loan Scheme.
Rhonda McFarlane is a Strategic Policy and Projects Officer at Angus Council. She manages the Angus Council funding team and her role spans strategically across the council supporting colleagues with project development, funding advice and support as well as providing support and advice to local businesses, community groups, and individuals helping to identify local, national and European funding opportunities. She currently administers 2 European Funded projects for LEADER and ERDF as well as being a representative of NESFLAG.
Rhonda is a Crowdfunding Coach and lead for Crowdfund Angus, supporting individuals, groups and organisations to create successful Crowdfunding campaigns to reach their funding goals..
